Hello! My name is Trish and I am a trusted and valued, fully- insured pet caregiver/house-sitter who will be an attentive companion for your pet while you're away. I will treat both your pet and your home as though my own, so you can travel with peace of mind knowing that your pet and home are expertly cared for. I generally board your pet at my home and in some situations, if you require a house-sitter as well, I will sit your pet at your residence.
I have always had pets in my life. Most recently, my beloved dog BFF, Lucia, whom I had since she was a mere 6 week old rescue. We spent 16.5 years together, of which I valued and cherished every minute of. She taught me the art of patience, play and deep emotional connection to a living being other than a fellow human. I learned how to care for her as she aged and grew more dependent on me. Her life was the greatest gift I have ever known. I am committed to carrying out that same level of care, trust and companionship with all the animals in my charge. I know, first hand, how difficult it is to find a pet-sitter who will care for your critters as much as you do. Believe me, I get it.
Before sitting for you, I would like to learn about your pet's likes and dislikes, dietary needs, cues and commands, sleeping, eating and walking routines and other pertinent information so as to make this experience positive and stress free.
Over the years, I have cared for a variety of pets and homes from large estates to small urban farms. I own a home with a large fenced in yard where I am happy to introduce your pet to mine if that is something you are comfortable with.
I provide other services as well, such as dog-walks, hikes and weekend excursions for active dogs and busy owners. I have experience with senior pets who need specialized care such as having medicine and hydration be administered at specific times. I'm also a pro with puppies who may need a little extra informal training.

Can’t say enough about how great Trish was with Maya, my 20 month old GSP! This was the first time that Trish was going to watch Maya, let alone for over a week. Trish came a few days prior to meet with Maya and I and took Maya for a walk. Trish’s warmth and love of animals was apparent from our first meeting. She house sat Maya for 8 days and kept me in the loop about everything that was going on. She spoiled Maya rotten and took her to various hikes and parks. Our sweet Frankie, who is a rescue from Puerto Rico, can be a bit shy when meeting new people. I was so pleased that he immediately warmed right up to Trish! He brought her his favorite toy and from the point on, they were best buds. Trish is very accommodating and flexible, while we were in the middle of a remodel, Frankie stayed at her home for 10 days. It was a great experience for him as it provided the opportunity for him to socialize with other dogs, cats and humans! Trish is a gem and we highly recommend her!
